About our Artistic Director - Robert J. Knabel
Rob Knabel has returned to Suncoast Singers of Florida for its 36th concert season as its Artistic Director.
Mr. Knabel began his career in 1980 as as the Director of Choral Music at Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg. He later taught music at Pinellas Park High School in Pinellas Park for 12 years before moving to East Lake High School in Tarpon Springs. He currently serves as the Director of Choral Music and chairman of the ELHS Performing Arts Department, teaching more than 220 students each day. He has been nominated as Pinellas County Schools Outstanding Music Educator of the Year.

He founded and directed the International Masterworks Chorus of Tampa Bay, a community chorus that has performed in Russia, France, England, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Norway, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. His choirs have also performed numerous times at New York City's famed Carnegie Hall and Utah's Mormon Tabernacle.

Meet our Accompanist - Dede Natale
Our Accompanist, Dede Natale, has a Bachelor of Arts in Music and an M.A.T. in Music Education from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC. She belongs to the Florida State Music Teachers Association, Music Teachers National Association, and the Upper Pinellas Music Teachers Association.
In addition, Ms. Natale is a member of the Suncoast Piano Quartet, has been the accompanist for the International Masterworks Chorus, and was the pianist at Feather Sound Community Church from 1980 to 2001.
She began her musical career as rehearsal accompanist for the New Jersey School of Ballet. She has been a coach and accompanist for the Asolo Opera Chorus.
